Andrea Poggetti

Andrea Poggetti is a surgeon specialising in hand surgery and reconstructive microsurgery of the limbs, with an approach that integrates clinical practice, scientific research and technological innovation.

He pays particular attention to the development and validation of minimally invasive surgical techniques, ultrasound-guided procedures and new treatment pathways aimed at improving clinical outcomes and the patient experience.

One of his  interests concerns understanding the functional difficulties and human distress that accompany hand disease and injury, considering each patient in the particular context of their working life, relationships and personal circumstances.

He believes that effective care stems from the integration of scientific rigour, innovation and attentive listening, with the aim of developing the most appropriate, safe and sustainable treatment pathway for each person.

For him, the constant search for better solutions represents not merely a professional activity, but a method of contributing to the evolution of hand surgery and to patients’ quality of life.
